The Vienna City Card is the plus for your visit to Vienna! Whether you prefer to let yourself drift and find your Vienna adventure on the spot or plan your city experience in advance: the City Card is your ideal companion through Vienna! You also have the option of booking a 24-hour Hop-On Hop-Off tour and an airport transfer. Attractive benefits also await you with the Vienna City Card in many museums, for sightseeing, at theaters and concerts, when shopping, in restaurants and in numerous selected and environmentally certified hotels.
Family bonus: One child up to the age of 15 or one dog travels for free with each Vienna City Card. Numerous benefit partners offer discounts for children.
The Vienna City Card can be booked up to 8 weeks in advance.

How to use the Vienna City Card as a ticket
Full mobility - With the Vienna City Card, you also have a ticket for all public transport operated by Wiener Linien! Explore Vienna by metro, tram, S-Bahn or bus and experience the thriving city up close. You decide whether you want to use your Vienna City Card as a 24h, 48h or 72h ticket.
Your ticket must be validated before you travel for the first time. Without a validation stamp, your ticket is invalid! Stamp your ticket at a Wiener Linien ticket validator at the start of your first journey and your ticket will be valid for the next 24h, 48h or 72h in the Vienna core zone (including Nightline buses). Without the airport transfer add-on, a separate ticket is required for the outer airport zone.
No further validation is necessary for print@home tickets or app tickets.

How to order your Vienna City Card
You want to use your Vienna City Card as an app ticket:
- Select desired card type = determine duration of public transport (24h, 48h or 72h)
- Add optional additional offer (Hop-On Hop-Off and/or Aiport Transfer)
- Configure Vienna City Cards: Define period of use
- Select "App Ticket" as the delivery method (prerequisite: download the "ivie" app)
- Order Vienna City Card subject to payment
- Enter the activation code from the order confirmation in the "ivie" app and off you go!
You want to use your Vienna City Card as a print@home ticket:
- Select the desired card type = determine the duration of public transport (24h, 48h or 72h)
- Add optional additional offer (Hop-On Hop-Off and/or Aiport Transfer)
- Configure Vienna City Cards: Define period of use
- Select "print@home" as the delivery method (prerequisite: a printout in original size
- Order Vienna City Card with payment
- Print out the PDF from the order confirmation in original size and off you go!
